Joshua Onomah played his part as England Under-17s progressed to the UEFA European U17 Finals via the Elite Round in the Czech Republic.
The young midfielder - on the bench for the first team in the recent Europa League Round of 16, second leg at Benfica - set-up Adam Armstrong's opening goal in the 2-1 win against Italy on Monday.
Valerio Trani levelled for Italy in the 52nd minute before Chelsea's Dominic Solanke secured victory with eight minutes remaining.
The win made it three out of three for the Young Lions in the Czech Republic. Josh was an unused substitute in the opening 1-0 win against Croatia before playing a full shift in the second match, another 1-0 success, this time against Albania.
The finals are staged in Malta between May 9-21.
