Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Martin Jol paid tribute to the players for coming through a gruelling week with three points at Blackburn.
The trip to Ewood Park was our third match in six days with the heartbreaking Carling Cup exit on penalties against Liverpool on Wednesday sandwiched between Barclays Premiership matches against Middlesbrough last Sunday and Rovers on Saturday.
So it was with huge credit that we returned from Lancashire with three points and a second league success of the week to move up to 12th in the table.
Robbie Keane finished Michael Brown's work to grab the winner in the second half after we'd had the better of the first half without really carving out the chances. However, the home side didn't really threaten either and Paul Robinson only made one serious save from Paul Gallagher at the start of the second half.
Head Coach Martin said: "It was a big worry because we've played three games in six days and extra-time on Wednesday but we showed that we are fit enough to play those games and that's important for the club.
"We also showed we have a couple of players who can fit it and do well.
"I had five players who played all the games - Sunday, Wednesday and Saturday, I had faith in a couple of players and I put Stephen Kelly back in and he did terrific, that was always gamble but he did so well in his last game at Burnley and I was satisfied with that.
"Michael Carrick played all the games this week and that's amazing because he didn't really play before.
"I also think this week Ledley King has been magnificent. He played three matches and from the first to the last minute he's a top-class player.
"There are a few players I'm very proud of this week."
