Job to do - Harry

Harry Kane could lock horns with his former captain at Hull on Sunday.

But as the team prepares to face Michael Dawson for the first time since his move to the KC Stadium, Harry insisted: “We’ve a job to do.”

Michael made 324 appearances for us before moving to the Tigers in the summer, joining fellow ex-Spurs Tom Huddlestone and Jake Livermore at the KC.

‘Daws’ was captain as Harry progressed through the ranks and wore the armband on the young striker’s debut in the Europa League against Hearts back in August, 2011.

After making his breakthrough last season, Harry has shot to the fore this term with 10 goals in all competitions and 14 for club and country after his double for England U21s against France on Monday.

Hull are next and if he holds onto his place, Harry is likely to face a scrap against central defender Michael.

“We all got on really well with Michael and it will be strange to see him in a different shirt!” said Harry back at the Training Centre this week after international duty.

“He was club captain after Ledley and always looked after the younger lads coming through. We all had a good relationship with him.

“It will be good to catch up but we’ve a job to do first and that’s what we’re all focused on.

“There are a lot of games coming up in every competition and hopefully we’ll be able to get some positive results and push on again.

"We know it will be tough at Hull but we're all determined to come away with three points."
