Jamie's kick-start

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Jamie Slabber is relishing the prospect of kick-starting his season following the young striker's loan switch to AB Copenhagen.

The 19-year-old has linked up with the Danish Super League outfit for the remainder of the campaign following a one-week trial stay at the club also known locally as Academisk Boldklub.

The Danish league is currently preparing to return to action after a winter break and Jamie - who enjoyed a taste of first team action against Liverpool towards the end of last season - reasons that the more technical nature of the game in Denmark will be a good experience for him.

"They have said they want me back until the end of the season so that will be for about three months," he reported before departure.

"It is a completely different type of football, technical and not as rushed as the Premiership. It will just be a good experience.

"It is not the best season I've had here, put it that way. I feel like it is coming together now and I think I do need this loan to really kick-start it."

Jamie, who will be joined at the club by the now released midfielder Ben Bowditch suspects the move will bring about a spot of independence for a home loving lad and is grateful that Baked Beans are available in local supermarkets...

"I suppose it will mean more independence for me. When we went out there for the week they gave me and Ben a flat and we were trying to survive on our money with food and that. It was a good experience and I enjoyed it.

"Thank goodness for Baked Beans - and toast!"
