Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Jamie Redknapp could barely contain his delight after joining us on a four-year deal from Liverpool.
Speaking as a Tottenham player for the first time from Spurs Lodge this evening, the 28-year-old England international beamed: "I couldn't be happier.
"It's all happened quite quickly. There has been a lot of speculation before but this week I realised there was a lot of interest and when I was given permission to talk to Tottenham there was nothing else in my mind than to get it done as soon as possible.
"I'm looking forward to working with the gaffer and John Gorman, I worked with them for England and I'm looking forward to working with them again now."
Jamie insisted his well-documented injury problems were behind him and he felt 'nothing but positive things' about leaving Anfield for the Lane.
"I'm still only 28," he pointed out. "Obviously I've had problems before but I feel good now.
"I'm just so excited and I'm only looking at so many positive things now. It's nice to have that buzz and that spring in my step.
"It's a new beginning for me. I've been at Liverpool for 11 years which is a long time in modern day football. The way things have gone is absolutely perfect for me."
Jamie joined Liverpool back in 1991 and has been involved in the rebuilding of the club to its former glories - five trophies last season and a title-challenge and the Champions League quarter-finals this time around.
Could we do the same as Glenn Hoddle continues his building at the Lane?
"It's possible, without a doubt," he said. "If I didn't think that was the case I wouldn't be signing.
"Everything is looking positive. With a little more luck this season Tottenham could have won things but the final didn't quite pan out the right way.
"There are a lot of good players, young players, experienced players, a lot like we had at Liverpool.
"There are no negative sides to it, everything is going in the right direction.
"I feel there are exciting times ahead for Tottenham and I want to be part of that."
