Jamie on England trio
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Jamie Redknapp views Jermain Defoe, Paul Robinson and Ledley King as major future players for England - whether or not one, two or all three play against Wales on Saturday.
Club skipper Jamie has been a huge supporter of the trio's international claims - all three started and Jermain scored last time out against Poland.
Sven Goran Eriksson faces some tough decisions on all three with David James in decent form since Robbo was handed the number one shirt in Poland, Sol Campbell and Rio Ferdinand available for defensive duties and Wayne Rooney fit again.
We asked Jamie, capped 15 times himself, what he thought of his team-mates' chances for the games against Wales on Saturday and Azerbaijan next week.
"I think Paul Robinson will be in goal," said Jamie. "Jermain is looking better and better, you just have to see him in training every day.
"Even the other week Rio Ferdinand was saying what a player he was.
"I feel him and Rooney will be the future of England and I don't see Rooney returning pushing Jermain out because Jermain is playing so well in his own right.
"Ledley, for me, has played as well as any centre-half in the country and he and John Terry held firm at a difficult time for England.
"Rio, Sol, Ledley, John Terry, Jonathan Woodgate - England are blessed with central defenders but Ledley can be reassured that he's as good as any of them. He's different class.
"We'll see what happens. Jermain's in good form but if he doesn't start and the manager goes with Rooney and Owen if one of those players doesn't do the business, Jermain can come on and do the business.
"He knows he can and Ledley can feel the same. Ledley knows now what he can do at international level and that's part of the battle."
