IT'S your chance to grab a piece of history via our latest, exclusive Xtra competition

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

IT'S your chance to grab a piece of history via our latest, exclusive Xtra competition.

Jermain Defoe has marked his five-goal performance in the incredible 9-1 win against Wigan by signing three copies of our official matchday programme and three teamsheets from the match - he's pictured with a programme above.

If you need reminding, JD became only the third striker in Premier League history to achieve the five-goal feat and only the fourth in our long history to do so, the last Les Allen all the way back in 1960.

It was also only the seventh time we've managed to score nine goals in a game and our highest-ever margin of victory for a top-flight encounter.

For the chance to win one of the three JD-signed souvenirs from the game, answer the question below...

Who set up two of Jermain's first three goals against Wigan?
A - Aaron Lennon
B - Niko Kranjcar
C - Vedran Corluka

THEY say all defenders fancy a bit of the strikers' glory and having seen Jermain Defoe bag five goals and enjoying our 9-1 win from the back on Sunday, Michael Dawson was banging them in from all angles in Thursday's training session at the Lodge.

No doubt spurred on by conceding that one goal, 'Daws' was on fire in a two-on-two session where the pairs started on each touchline, Kevin Bond kicked the ball in the middle and they battled for possession.

Daws' central defensive partner Jonathan Woodgate didn't have the same magic touch in front of goal though and Xtra captured perfectly his reaction (above) after missing a sitter!!

Jimmy Walker also had a stormer in goal - enough to warrant a big congratulatory hug from Heurelho Gomes afterwards. For that picture and a couple more from Thursday's training, click the arrows at the top of the page.
