Internationals - Wednesday preview

16 June 2015|Tottenham Hotspur

Erik Lamela and Milos Veljkovic face big games on the international stage overnight and into Wednesday morning.

Erik is with the Argentina squad for their second match at the Copa America in Chile, Gerardo Martino’s men taking on Uruguay at 12.30am UK time.

Our attacking midfielder will be hoping for his first run-out in Group B, having been on the bench for Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Paraguay.

Meanwhile, in New Zealand, young defender Milos is with Serbia as they prepare for their FIFA Under-20 World Cup semi-final showdown with Mali (kick-off 8.30am UK time, 7.30pm local time in Auckland).

Serbia have already met Mali at the tournament finals – picking up a 2-0 victory in the second match of the group stage back on June 3.

Milos has been ever-present for his nation in their five matches at the tournament so far.
