Internationals - Sunday action, Monday preview

Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld were in action for Belgium as they claimed three more points in Group B of Euro 2016 qualifying on Sunday evening.

The defensive duo completed the full 90 minutes for the Red Devils in their 1-0 win away to Cyprus, with Nacer Chadli an unused substitute for their side.

In the same group, Ben Davies helped Wales keep a clean sheet as they drew 0-0 at home to Israel. He also completed the full game on the left side of a back three for the hosts.

MONDAY FIXTURES

Hugo Lloris and France are back in action tonight (Monday, September 7) as they play host to Serbia in an international friendly, kick-off 7.45pm.

England youth football is also on the agenda, headlined by England Under-21s’ European qualifier in Norway. Dele Alli and Eric Dier are in the squad for the 5.45pm kick-off.

Harry Winks, meanwhile, is with England Under-20s for the second of two home friendlies against Czech Republic, while England Under-19s, with Josh Onomah and Kyle Walker-Peters in their ranks, face a friendly away to Croatia.
