Mousa Dembele played 90 minutes for Belgium as the Red Devils continued their build-up to the World Cup with a 2-0 friendly win against Sweden on Sunday evening.
Nacer Chadli also saw action, going on as a 68th minute substitute when the score was 1-0. Jan Vertonghen, who was involved in last week’s 5-1 win over Luxembourg, was on the bench.
Elsewhere, Hugo Lloris was back in goal for France as they drew 1-1 with Paraguay.
After being rested for last week’s 4-0 win against Norway, Hugo was called on to deny Roque Santa Cruz, Victor Caceres and Miguel Samudio with the French biding their time before taking an 82nd minute lead through Antoine Griezmann – only for Paraguay to bag a late leveller through Caceres.
Meanwhile, Benoit Assou-Ekotto was a 58th minute substitute for Cameroon as they first took the lead, then fell 2-1 behind, then grabbed an equaliser to draw 2-2 with Germany.
