Internationals - another win for Christian

Christian Eriksen tasted victory with Denmark in Wednesday night’s international friendly against Sweden.

Our 22-year-old midfielder, who found the net in last week’s friendly against Hungary, played 90 minutes in Copenhagen as Daniel Agger’s last-gasp penalty secured a 1-0 win for the Danes.

It wasn’t such a good night for goalkeeper Jordan Archer, however.

Jordan was in goal for Scotland Under-21s as they suffered a 6-1 defeat at the hands of a clinical Netherlands side in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying round.

Jordan’s fellow stopper Hugo Lloris was rested on Tuesday night as France beat Norway 4-0 in a friendly at the Stade de France.
