It's looking good for Christian Eriksen and Vlad Chiriches in Euro 2016 qualifying after Saturday's results for Denmark and Romania respectively.
Christian created chances for Nicklas Bendtner, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Simon Poulsen and had a couple of efforts off target as Denmark beat Serbia 2-0 in Copenhagen.
That result leaves Denmark second in Group I, two points behind Portugal but three ahead of Albania, who they face next in a crucial match in September. The top two teams from each of the nine groups go straight through to the finals in France next summer.
Denmark also have Portugal to play in October.
Vlad completed the 90 minutes as Romania played out a goalless draw against Northern Ireland in a top-of-the-table clash in Belfast.
Romania remain top by a point from NI with Hungary a further point adrift in third and it looks like those three will battle it out for the top two spots, with the team in third set to appear in the play-offs.
Elsewhere, Nabil Bentaleb was on target as Algeria made a positive start to African Cup of Nations 2017 qualifying against the Seychelles. The midfielder scored the fourth goal in added time in Blida.
Erik Lamela remained on the bench as Argentina opened their Copa America campaign with a 2-2 draw against Paraguay while Hugo Lloris played a full shift as France lost 1-0 against Albania in a friendly.
Andros Townsend is in the England squad for today's (Sunday, June 14) Euro 2016 qualifier against Slovenia while new signing Kevin Wimmer is with the Austria squad set to face Russia in Moscow.
