Injury update

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Glenn Hoddle reports that, with a good week's training, Robbie Keane could be back in time to face Bolton Wanderers next Monday.

The striker has been absent with a knee ligament injury but is now making good progress in his recovery. Glenn added that Anthony Gardner (hamstring) and Steffen Iversen (back) have 'outside chances'.

"There is a possibility if Robbie Keane has a good week's training," said the boss. "Anthony Gardner might be a bit short, along with Steffen Iversen, but they are outside chances.

"Darren and Deano will be back, Christian Ziege had the exploratory on his knee which wasn't too alarming - probably just knocked himself back a week.

"Chris Perry has had a neck problem and will have a reserve game next week.

"The list has been too big for too long and until we get our players fit we won't know what the potential of this squad is."

Glenn also gave an update on the progress of Jamie Redknapp - sidelined since December with a stress fracture of the toe.

"Jamie's bone is just about healing and it has been unfortunate that nature has taken so long. It does take time and it has gone against us at the moment."
