I'm so happy - Sandro
Sandro hinted that he might just take aim more often after scoring the key opening goal in Saturday's fine 3-0 win at Fulham.
The midfielder rifled home from fully 35 yards to break the deadlock after 56 minutes at Craven Cottage.
The goal opened the game up in our favour as Fulham pushed forward and we took advantage with two clinical finishes from Jermain Defoe to wrap up the points.
It was our third victory in the Premier League in the space of six days and moved us into fourth place, level on points with Chelsea and West Brom.
Such a bubbly character anyway, Sandro was smiling from ear to ear afterwards. "I'm very happy, so so happy," he beamed.
"It's my first goal of the season but I'm happy because we won. It was a great win. Everyone played really well and we have to continue playing like this."
It was only Sandro's second goal for us - his first, an equally-spectacular strike at Chelsea in April, 2011 - and it was suggested his goal was somewhat of a surprise.
"Sometimes you have to shoot!" he said. "I have to shoot more, to try more. It was a good goal. I'm happy because it was an important goal.
"The supporters were fantastic again, right behind us all the time. We're all delighted."
