'I will come back stronger' - Sonny
11 November 2015|Tottenham Hotspur
Heung-Min Son experienced his first derby at the Emirates and then stated: "I'm getting stronger."
The South Korean star returned from a six-match absence through a foot injury as a substitute in last week's Europa League win against Anderlecht before coming off the bench in Sunday's draw at Arsenal.
Sonny, who made such a storming start to his Spurs career before injury struck, is confident he's on his way back.
"I am fit and getting better and stronger," he said. "I always think I can play better. I will come back stronger. I’m excited for the next derbies as well, they are important for us and our fans. We have to be very fit for these games."
Sonny was of course referring to our next two matches in the Premier League - back-to-back London derbies at the Lane against West Ham (Sunday, November 22, 4pm) and Chelsea (November 29, 12noon).
First though, more reflections on Arsenal. "It was crazy and unbelievable for me to sit on the bench and take in the atmosphere," he said.
"It was very exciting. The game had a great atmosphere and we were unlucky to only draw 1-1.
"We played very well and had chances to win but that is football and we have to learn from it.
"We played well and had more chances than them. We attacked well, especially in the second half. Harry, Christian and Toby had big chances. I want to win every game so it’s two points dropped."
