'I wanted that hat-trick' - Heung-Min Son on first treble for Spurs

Heung-Min Son says he will take motivation from his first Spurs’ hat-trick matchball.
The South Korean star took home the spoils after his first treble in a Spurs shirt helped us sink Millwall 6-0 in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Sunday.
“The ball will go in my house and it will make me motivated every game to score another hat-trick,” said Sonny, who took his tally to six in this FA Cup run and 14 for the season so far. “It’s not easy but I’m really, really happy to score my first hat-trick here in Tottenham.”

We dominated from start to finish but had to wait for the half-hour mark to score the opener as Christian Eriksen swept home.
The goals flowed from there and Sonny hit two belters either side of half-time to put the issue beyond doubt - the first a curler into the top corner with his left foot for 2-0 then even better, watching Kieran Trippier’s pass over his shoulder before volleying home first-time for the third.
Dele Alli made it 4-0, Vincent Janssen added the fifth and as we ticked into the second minute of added time, Sonny was there again to volley home his hat-trick goal, his effort squirming through Lions goalkeeper Tom King.
“I thought it was my last chance and I wanted to shoot properly, my touch wasn’t great but I think this was my day, the goalkeeper made a mistake and I got my hat-trick,” added Sonny.
“I really wanted to score that one because I wanted my first hat-trick here, I was really happy when the ball went over the line, I was really happy to win this game as well. We deserved to go into the next round.”
