'I just want to help the team' - Toby Alderweireld on his return

The welcome from our fans at Wembley said it all - Toby Alderweireld is back!
Outside the goals, the central defender's return to action off the bench in the 69th minute of our 3-1 win against CSKA earned the biggest cheer of the night from the Spurs faithful.
He's worked overtime since then to get back - and that work has paid off.

"I’m very happy," said Toby, who missed 10 games on the sidelines. "It was a tough two months because it’s not been a usual injury, but I worked hard so as soon as the muscle and nerve starting working again, I could be fit to play again.
"When you are injured at Spurs you have to work very hard! That's a good thing, because when you are back, you are fully fit. I put a lot of effort in and I’m happy to be back. I just want to help the team in the next few weeks.
"It was difficult to see the team play in the Champions League and big games in the Premier League as well. You want to try to help the team but that gave me a reason to work hard and come back as quickly as possible."

Toby went close a couple of times with headers from corners as we secured our first victory at Wembley in this Champions League campaign to qualify for the Europa League. The draw for the Round of 32 in the Europa League is on Monday with the ties played in February.
"It was important to win to stay in Europe and to finally win in Wembley," added Toby, who scored our first goal in the group back in September. "Now we go onto the next one."
And the next one is a cracker against Manchester United in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Sunday.
