I feel confident - Toby

Toby Alderweireld was in a positive frame of mind after renewing acquaintances with Jan Vertonghen in the MLS All-Star Game.
The pair won back-to-back championships together at Ajax before Jan joined us in 2012.
Toby won another title at Ajax in 2013 and then joined Atletico Madrid - where he won fourth-successive league crown in 2013-14 - before a loan spell at Southampton last season.
The Belgian international team-mates were reunited when we signed Toby from Atletico in July and they were back together in central defence in our 2-1 loss against the MLS All-Stars in Colorado in the early hours of Thursday morning.
In a game we largely dominated , two goals in three minutes from Kaka - a penalty - and David Villa saw the MLS home.
We created a host of chances but only had Harry Kane’s belter to show as goalkeeper Nick Rimando put in an inspired performance in the first half.
“It feels familiar to play alongside Jan, I like the system we play and I like the team so I’m very happy, I feel very confident,” said Toby.
“I thought my game was alright. It’s nice to play 65 minutes again and it feels good ahead of the start of the season.
“We were against a very strong side and it was difficult to play because of the altitude. We were a little unlucky with the first goal but we tried to play our football throughout. The second half was better but we missed a few chances.
“We don’t have to look too much at pre-season results, we just have to be happy with how we’re training and the condition that we’re in.
“We’re getting fitter and fitter which is the aim of pre-season."
