Hugo Lloris is relishing the prospect of tonight’s clash between two giants of the European international stage.
Our popular goalkeeper has joined up with the France squad this week ahead of a pair of international friendlies – the first of which takes place against neighbours Spain this evening.
With his nation automatically qualifying for the Euro 2016 finals by virtue of being the host nation, Hugo is keen for Les Bleus to gradually build momentum over the next two years.
And he says there’s no better place to start than in tonight’s game, with a further friendly still to come away to Serbia on Sunday.
“We are already qualified for the tournament finals so we’re going to play friendly games for the next two years,” explained the 27-year-old.
“Spain at home is a good game, so we hope to enjoy it and put on a good performance for the French people.”
