Hugo on Tbilisi
22 August 2013|Tottenham Hotspur
While you have to look back 40 years to find our last trip to Tbilisi, Hugo Lloris will make his second visit to the capital of Georgia in a couple of weeks.
Our goalkeeper spoke to Spurs TV ahead of our Europa League playoff against Dinamo Tbilisi before he returns to the city with the French national team to face Georgia in a vital World Cup qualifier.
Dinamo have been involved in the qualification rounds for European competition consistently over the past ten years and Lloris is wary of the challenge ahead.
"It's not an easy game, playing away against a team with experience of the Champions League and the Europa League," Hugo said.
"I think Dinamo won a lot of confidence last season by winning the double and they have nothing to lose against us. It's a big game for them in front of their own fans so it should be a really good game to play. I hope to win.
"I will come back with the French national team and it will be a hard game; it's our last chance to qualify. It won't be easy and in this stadium there should be a great atmosphere."
