Hugo Lloris has spoken of his pride after earning the respect of everyone at Spurs and in English football.
Captain of Spurs and France, Hugo was speaking about how life had changed on and off the pitch after we announced he'd signed a new deal on Thursday.
In the form of his life, Hugo is quickly approaching the 200-game mark for us in all competitions.

"It’s a great feeling to be captain," he said. "I can be proud of that, it’s not easy for a foreign player to come to England and win the respect of mates, fans and of the English people and that was part of my ambition when I got the possibility to join Tottenham.
"I’m really pleased with that but it’s not enough, I want more. That’s why I work so hard. Hopefully the best years are ahead. As a goalkeeper, I still have good years ahead of me."
Off the field, Hugo, now 29, has settled into London life with his wife Marine and his two daughters.
"As a man, that’s most important thing for me, to know, to feel, to see my family happy, my girls, my wife," he added. "Now we feel very comfortable with London life and we’re enjoying our time in England and it’s a great experience as a professional.
"As I used to say, you cannot enjoy your life if you are not enjoying the professional side and that’s why we work so hard every day, to always try to improve our skills and help the team to achieve great things. As long as I believe I will do everything to help this Club."
