Hugo happy with debut
Hugo Lloris enjoyed every minute of his Spurs debut - all that was missing was the deserved victory against SS Lazio in the Europa League.
The French goalkeeper actually had little to do in keeping a clean sheet but came out to claim a couple of dangerous crosses in fine style.
And he was left rueing our luck with the rest of his team-mates after we saw three goals disallowed as our opening match of six in Group J ended in a goalless draw.
"It was my first game and I was happy to be on the pitch and discover the stadium and the atmosphere, it was great," said Hugo.
"Lazio is typically an Italian team, so when they play away they want to defend and I think they defended well.
"We had three or four opportunities to score, but there were no goals for us this time.
"We really wanted to win this game and we were unlucky."
