Hugo hails team's work ethic

Hugo Lloris is convinced we’re heading in the right direction on the pitch.
The popular French goalkeeper, captain of club and country, was in typically sensational form prior to the international break, pulling off particularly memorable saves against Crystal Palace and Swansea City to help us take 10 points from a possible 12 from our last four domestic games.
Never one to talk up his own achievements, the 28-year-old prefers to focus on the progress of the whole team – and he’s certainly been encouraged by our performances in recent weeks.
Now, as we prepare to return to action against Liverpool on Saturday lunchtime, the charismatic stopper has called for more of the same endeavour from the players – with an added emphasis on scoring the goals needed to kill matches off.
“If we keep playing the same way with the same attitude then we’re going to win a lot of games,” Hugo said.
“If we have to improve on one aspect of our game it’s in front of goal – we have to score more.
“Again at Swansea we had so much space and so many chances but we need to be more clinical in front of goal.
“It’s not only about one player but all the attacking players – they need to get into the box and be more aggressive with a desire to score.
“The rest will come, though, if we keep the same attitude and behaviour.”
