Hughton's scouting report
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Chris Hughton believes Bolton work their playing system as well as anyone in the Premiership.
Sam Allardyce is likely to line-up with a 4-3-3 formation with Kevin Davies as the lone striker and support from two of El-Hadji Diouf, Euro 2004 champion Stelios Giannakopoulos or Jay-Jay Okocha - if he recovers from injury.
It has worked well again for Wanderers so far this term as they sit fourth in the table with two defeats in nine matches.
"I saw them against Crystal Palace last Saturday," said Chris. "That wasn't one of their better performances but they still did enough to go on and win the game.
"They are one of very few teams who will play a 4-3-3 system and have done for the last couple of seasons.
"When you play a system you tend to buy players who fit into that system. They have lots of options particularly from midfield to forward areas where they can rotate. They work it well and I expect them to be no different against us."
Doubts surround the fitness of Okocha, missing against Palace with a groin problem and midfielder Ivan Campo, who suffered nasty facial injuries after a clash of heads with Gary Speed.
"If Campo is out it will be a big miss for them," added Chris. "I can remember his first season and people weren't sure but he's got better and better and is as important in that side as anyone.
"Gary Speed is a fantastic player and another important player for them with the way they play is Kevin Davies up front.
"He had a difficult time in his last period at Southampton but played very, very well last season. He scored against Palace.
"There are a few question marks over Okocha and I think we'll be hoping he doesn't play because he's had the knack if playing well against us. He's also important for them in the way they play he takes up a free role and when you've got his quality you know he can hurt you."
