Chris Hughton gives his views on Blackburn ahead of tonight's (Thursday, 8pm) Premiership clash at the Lane.

GOING into the last three games of the season - and certainly no disrespect to Charlton, that was a very tough away game, or Manchester City - but it looks like Blackburn will be the toughest.

They are strong side, pushing for European place, they know they need to win and they are a danger, certainly on the back of the win at Newcastle. One thing we can't do is underestimate them and we certainly won't do that.

They've had to make changes, they've lost players and they deserve a lot of credit for bouncing back from losing Robbie Savage and Steven Reid, two influencial players for them.

I would expect them to line-up in a 4-4-2 system with two very good wide players in Bentley and Pedersen, both good footballers and dangerous on set-pieces. We all know about Pedersen and his ability, he scores goals and comes off his flank to attack the far post.

Tugay, if he plays, is a fabulous player. He still gets around the park well and is an influence, as we saw with his goal at Ewood Park. They'll probably go with Mokoena with him centrally, Samba played in there for one game but he'll possibly play at the back with Nelson, Warnock and Emerton the full-backs.

Up front, McCarthy has enjoyed a fine season, scored plenty of goals and Roberts will parter him, he's been out for a while because of injury and will want to finish off the season in a good way.

They are physically a strong side who work hard but play good football as well. When you've got the individuals they've got in the likes of Bentley, Pedersen and Tugay, they can be nothing else but a good side. They have a bit of everything and that's a mark of the manager, Mark Hughes, and his staff. They've made progress and it will be a tough game.
