Fresh from his PFA Player of the Year Award, Gareth Bale headlines another bumper month in Hotspur magazine - out now!

Fresh from his PFA Player of the Year Award, Gareth Bale headlines another bumper month in Hotspur magazine - out now!

The Welsh flier speaks about that prestigious award in May's magazine.

He was only the fourth Spurs player to win it after Pat Jennings, Clive Allen and David Ginola. Don't forget, he was also second in the PFA Young Player Award and took his place in the PFA's Premier League Team of the Year - all voted for by his fellow professionals.

"It's he award you want, it's from your fellow pros and that's such a unique compliment," he said.

Gareth looks back at his early days at Southampton, the importance of his parents and overcoming a confidence problem, his breakthrough at Spurs and a wonderful 2010 and 2011 including his performances in the Champions League.

You can also win the shirt Gareth wore for our Champions League fixture away to Real Madrid in a free-to-enter competition.

As always, it's quite a cast list in Hotspur.

May's edition - still just £3.45 - includes interviews with Sandro, William Gallas, Luka Modric, Tom Huddlestone and Jonathan Woodgate.

Harry Redknapp talks Benoit Assou-Ekotto. "He's a fanastic player. You wouldn't want to play against him. He's quick, aggressive and has an unbelievable left foot. I think he's top-drawer."

Michael Dawson takes a personal reflection on our Champions League campaign. "Having been there and done it, we all want more," insists the skipper.

Legendary former skipper Alan Mullery takes the Big Q&A hotseat, answering questions from fans on all subjects including Bill Nicholson and his career at Spurs, Bobby Moore, the 1970 World Cup and being awarded the MBE.

We've Ossie Ardiles' regular column and Nayim tells us how impressed he was with our Champions League performances.

Neale Fenn and Gerry Armstrong also feature and our 50-year anniversary celebrations of the 1960-61 double continue with the FA Cup Final win against Leicester City, a feature on Maurice Norman and a special interview with 'Mr Blackpool', Jimmy Armfield, who tells us what it was like to face that great Spurs team.

We've all the regulars as well including May's diary, Dream Team, My Spurs Debut plus all the pictures and stats from our recent matches.

Hotspur - it's a must for all Spurs fans!
