Home sweet home

Nacer Chadli is relishing our run of home games and believes we’ve got a great opportunity to build some momentum with a positive run of results.
We play the second of four home matches in nine days on Sunday when Crystal Palace are our visitors in the Premier League before Arsenal come to White Hart Lane on Wednesday night for a Capital One Cup third round clash.
Then, three days later, we’re back at the Lane once more with Manchester City in opposition on the domestic scene.
Those matches follow on from this week’s home Europa League clash with Qarabag, but Nacer says the players are far from daunted by the busy schedule facing them as we look to make progress in all the different competitions.
“It’s a busy period of fixtures coming up but it’s nice to play every three or four days,” said the Belgian international, who completed 90 minutes in last weekend’s 1-0 win at Sunderland.
“As a footballer the more you play, the better it is. You want to be on the pitch all the time.
“We’ve played one game a week for the last few weeks so it’s great now to have two games a week. Sometimes it’s good to have that situation because it means you can gain some momentum.”
