We did fantastic in adapting to the difficult conditions last weekend on a pitch that certainly was not the easiest to play on at Wigan Athletic's DW Stadium.

I was really pleased with the attitude we showed, we played some great football and got our rewards. It was a terrific away performance and result.

It is going to be tight for fourth place but we have as good a chance as anybody else up there. I think the positions of those that are competing for that place will chop and change right up until the end of the season. Teams are going to drop points because there are no easy games, teams have improved and it's tough.

It will probably end up being like a game of musical chairs - it will change week to week. The good thing is that we are still in there with a great chance which is fantastic.

You have got to be pleased when you win in the manner that we did in our FA Cup replay against Bolton Wanderers on Wednesday. There were some good goals and I couldn't have asked for anymore than that. It was a terrific night and now we have a tough quarter-final trip to Fulham to look forward to next weekend.

We have been playing well apart from the stutter at Wolves and have only lost twice in 16 games so we are showing terrific form.

This evening we welcome Everton to White Hart Lane, a side who are also on a good run of late. David Moyes has done a great job as he approaches his eight-year anniversary since first taking charge at Goodison Park.

David has suffered with a horrific run of injuries within his squad this season. He lost key players and like any team you can't afford for that to happen because it is obvious you will never be as good a side. No matter who the team is, when you lose your best players to injury, it has a big effect.

He has now got the nucleus of his squad coming back to full fitness and the results are showing the difference having picked up big wins against Manchester United and Chelsea recently.

There is no reason they cannot go on a run between now and the end of the season, so it is still not impossible for them to be pushing up the table and emerging as challengers for fourth place.

I feel we have a terrific end of season to come. We are still fighting on two fronts so there is nothing but positives when you look at how our season has panned out so far.

We have played some great football so let's hope we can continue doing that until the end of the season and pick up the wins we need to achieve something special come May.

Have a good afternoon.
