We have proven that we have got great ability at this club, but I think we are also a much more resilient side now.

We can scrap it out when we need to and that was demonstrated on Saturday with a big win at Stoke City.

The Britannia Stadium is a difficult place to go, not many teams come away with a win. If you don't compete, they will run you over. You have to play your own game if you are going to win.

There was nothing in it at half-time but in the second half we were brave, we passed the ball and defended well from their set plays.

We have been on a great run of late, winning at places like Stoke and Wigan, as well as gaining maximum points here like we did last time out against Blackburn Rovers.

People always expect you to win games at home against the likes of Blackburn but we have seen so many times already this season throughout the division that it doesn't always work out that way. I always thought they would give us a difficult day, so to pick up the three points at the end of it was great for us.

We have to keep trying to get results in every game now and see where we go, there are still a lot of hard games to come. The race for fourth spot is still wide open. There won't be much in it. You could finish fourth but you could also finish seventh, I really feel it is going to be that close.

We still have a host of key players on the sidelines through injury, but we have kept the results going and that is credit to the whole squad. Everyone who has come into the side has done well, they have all played their part.

This evening we welcome Fulham to White Hart Lane for this FA Cup quarter-final replay.

I went to Craven Cottage last week when they played Juventus and for me it was one of the great European performances. To see a team turn in a performance like they did to come from a goal down within two minutes, having lost the first leg 3-1, to beat Juventus 4-1 was unbelievable.

What Roy Hodgson has done there is fantastic. They are a well-drilled, organised side and Roy gets everything out of them.

We know from our other three encounters with them this season what tough opposition they are so it will be another difficult game tonight but we are playing ever so well and we have to make home advantage count if we are to progress.

Have a good evening.
