Harry's hat-trick heaven

Harry Kane had a beaming smile as he held the matchball from his first Premier League hat-trick, admitting: “I’m loving every minute.”
And the in-form striker was quick to point out what really mattered at the Lane - three points after a 4-3 win against Leicester City.
Harry notched up goals 27, 28 and 29 for his second treble this season - his first of the campaign and his senior Spurs career came against Asteras Tripolis in the Europa League - as we got the better of a Foxes team that simply wouldn’t give up.
Harry fired us into a 2-0 lead inside 15 minutes but Leicester pulled a goal back before the break and then levelled on 50 minutes.
Danny Rose was upended to hand Harry the chance of his hat-trick from the penalty spot - clinically accepted - on 65 minutes and when Christian Eriksen forced Jeffrey Schlupp into an own goal five minutes from time it looked all over at 4-2.
But Leicester came back again, David Nugent made it 4-3 on 89 minutes and the visitors pushed us back in added time as we held on.
“I’m delighted to score the hat-trick but the most important thing was to get the win,” said Harry, who will now join up with the senior England squad for the first time.
“Credit to Leicester, they never gave up and we didn’t expect anything less because they are fighting for their lives at the bottom of the table.
“We had a few chances at 2-0 when we could have put the game to bed but we didn’t take them and Leicester came back and punished us.
“It’s always tough to give away the lead when you have been 2-0 up, to get hauled back and then you have to find that extra gear again but we found that gear and we’re delighted to win the match.”
Harry has now matched Jurgen Klinsmann’s tally of 29 goals from the 1994-95 season - the best of the last 20 years - and at the end of Saturday’s matches, he stood proudly top of the goalscoring chart in the Premier League.
“I’m loving every minute,” he said. “I’m trying not to think too much about it, just trying to play my game and trying to help the team to get wins.
“It’s gone well so far and hopefully there are more weeks like this, it has to be right at the top of my career so far.”
