Harry's fired up

Wed 04 March 2015, 11:00|Tottenham Hotspur

Devastated at Sunday's Capital One Cup Final loss, hotshot Harry Kane declared: "Hopefully this is the first of many!"

Despite bags of energy and endeavour, Harry couldn't add to his 24-goal tally as Chelsea ran out 2-0 victors at Wembley.

Christian Eriksen struck the woodwork as we enjoyed the better of the first half but we suffered a blow as Chelsea took the lead a minute before half-time and we then fell two goals behind to a second deflected effort, this time from Diego Costa, 10 minutes into the second half.

That's how it stayed and Harry admitted watching Chelsea lift the trophy really fired him up for a return.

"We’ve come a long way, we’ve a young team, a new manager and to be in a final in our first season is great," he said,

"It was disappointing to come out on the losing side but again, it’s all about how we learn from it. We’ll come back stronger.

"We have a very young team and this is all experience for us. Hopefully we’ll be in many more finals to come."
