Harry targets positive performance

Thu 28 August 2014, 14:10|Tottenham Hotspur

Harry Kane wants to send our supporters home happy tonight as we look to see off AEL Limassol in the second leg of our Europa League Play-Off encounter.

Carrying a 2-1 advantage over from the first meeting, we take on the Cypriot side at White Hart Lane keen to book our spot in the draw for the Group Stage, which takes place on Friday.

Striker Harry, who netted our second goal in the first leg, is refusing to underestimate our visitors tonight but is nonetheless keen for us to play well.

“AEL put up a tough test, they were a good side and had some good individual players but also played as a team,” said Harry, reflecting on last week’s match.

“I’m sure the Lane will be packed again this evening and we always want to put on good performances in front of our own supporters.

“They will be expecting us to play well and win the game and that’s certainly what we will be aiming to do. Our target now is to win the match and get into the group stages.”
