Harry on 'Ollie'

Harry Redknapp reckons Ian Holloway has worked miracles at Blackpool.

Harry Redknapp reckons Ian Holloway has worked miracles at Blackpool.

We travel to Bloomfield Road for Sunday's 1.30pm kick-off with the Seasiders sitting pretty in 10th place in the Barclays Premier League.

Blackpool were amongst the favourites for the drop from the Championship when Holloway took over in May, 2009, but instead he guided them to the Premier League via the play-offs and a Wembley win over Cardiff City a year later.

Pundits barely offered his team a hope in the Premier League, but a 4-0 victory at Wigan on the opening day signalled their intent and was followed by a string of fine results, the highlight so far a win at Anfield.

Blackpool's attacking, passing style has also won many fans, including Harry.

"Ian Holloway has done an incredible job," said Harry.

"For me, the two candidates for Manger of the Year are him and Robert di Matteo at West Brom and whoever does best for the rest of the season will get my vote.

"What he's done there has been a miracle.

"He's also full of enthusiasm, he's bubbly, he's a great character and his team plays fantastic football.

"Let's be honest, no-one saw them having a chance to surive this season. Everyone said they'd be lucky to get 20-odd points.

"Well, they've gone to places like Liverpool and turned them over, they went to Stoke last week and won and very few teams go and get a win there.

"I've seen a lot of them and they have a go, they attack, they get after teams and they've been brilliant.

"So has Ollie, he's been great value as well."
