Harry named Barclays Player of the Month
08 April 2016|Tottenham Hotspur
Harry Kane has been named Barclays Player of the Month in the Premier League for March.
The striker scored five goals in three Premier League matches in the month, including his screamer against Arsenal on March 5 - already voted Goal of the Month by our fans and on Match Of The Day.
He went on to score doubles against Villa and Bournemouth to take his tally to 21 for the season in the Premier League. That figure is now a club record 22 goals for a Premier League season as he continued his run against Liverpool last weekend.
He capped it all off with a fantastic strike for England to kick-start the comeback from 2-0 down for a memorable 3-2 win against Germany in Berlin.

Reflecting on the month, Harry said: "We had to bounce back after West Ham and I felt we deserved to win against Arsenal. It was important to get back to winning ways after that.
"I scored one of my better goals against Arsenal and we built on that performance against Villa and Bournemouth. I was delighted to score the goals in those games.
"Hopefully I’ll get a few more goals and continue to push on, continue to do well for the team and we’ll continue to keep winning games."
His goalscoring feats for the month were all achieved wearing a protective mask after breaking his nose against Palace in January.
"To be honest, it didn’t really bother me and didn’t make a difference - in fact, it ended up doing all right for me!" he added.
Jurgen Klinsmann won the first Player of the Month Award back in August, 1994 - he's had his say on Harry's goalscoring exploits alongside Teddy Sheringham, Robbie Keane - who also won this monthly award - and Les Ferdinand.
Meanwhile, Harry gave up his afternoon to volunteer for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice on Tuesday -full story HERE...
