Harry looks ahead to Colchester test

29 January 2016|Tottenham Hotspur

Harry Kane is taking nothing for granted ahead of our FA Cup tie at Colchester United on Saturday.

We travel to the Weston Homes Community Stadium to take on the League One side in the fourth round of the famous old cup competition, kick-off 12.45pm.

While he says the lads are confident in their ability to make it through to the next stage, striker Harry believes Colchester’s undoubted desire to cause an upset means we’ll need to be fully focused in order to get the job done against the Essex side.

“Playing in the FA Cup away from home isn’t going to be easy,” warned the England international.

“Colchester are going to want to keep their run going, make history and make their dreams come true by going an extra round further so we’ve got to be aware of that.

“We’ll be favourites but we know we’ve got to go out there and put on a good performance. Any game away from home is tough but we’ve got more than enough ability so, if we’re on our game, we should be okay.”
