Harry confident ahead of Partizan clash

Harry Kane went closer than anyone to scoring against Partizan Belgrade in our Europa League Group C opener back in September.

The young striker rattled the crossbar in the opening exchanges as we drew 0-0 at Partizan Stadium – but he’s determined to do better this time around as we prepare for the return match at White Hart Lane on Thursday.

Victory against the Serbian league leaders would rubber-stamp our place in the knockout stages of the competition and in-form Harry is keen to get the job done.

“It's an important game,” said the 21-year-old, who has already plundered seven goals in the competition so far this season. “We want to qualify and we've made it clear that we want to go far in this competition.

“Partizan made it hard for us away from home but I’m confident that at White Hart Lane we should be able to create more chances and get the win.

“It should be a great match and obviously, being at home, hopefully we can get the victory and get through.”
