Gylfi delighted with pre-Halloween screamer!

Gylfi Sigurdsson revealed he thought he might have to take another spot kick as our dramatic penalty shootout rumbled on last night.
Our Icelandic international was a key figure in our Capital One Cup victory over Hull City, which saw us finally triumph 8-7 on kicks from the spot after 120 minutes of football ended with the scores level at 2-2.
Earlier, Gylfi rifled in our opener – a goal of the season contender – and put in a real shift throughout the prolonged match before confidently tucking away our opening penalty in the shootout.
But with nine penalties each needed to decide the tie, Gylfi admitted his mind was starting to turn towards a second round of spot kicks before goalkeeper Brad Friedel saved from Ahmed Elmohamady to see us into the next round.
“I thought I was going to have to take another!” he said afterwards.
“No-one was missing but then Brad did well on the last one and thankfully that finished it.”
The 24-year-old was also delighted with his first half strike, which arrowed into the top corner from long range.
“It was nice to get the goal. I hit it quite sweetly and thankfully it hit the target,” he added.
“We dominated the game but they got a lucky goal in the second half and then made it difficult for us. Harry then came on and scored the equaliser and that changed the game for us.”
