Goran's Cottage high
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Goran Bunjevcevic reflected on his first senior outing for eight weeks and explained the difference between that and reserve team football.
"I was feeling okay," said Goran after coming through unscathed. "These games and the reserve games are very different.
"I must say it was a very difficult game for us as it was a London derby away from home in the 4th round. We could not just expect to win at Fulham, but we did very well and I'm very pleased."
So what are the key differences between the first and second string?
"Don't underestimate the crowd that are at these games, lots of people watching and an atmosphere.
"Normally when you play a reserve game you can allow yourself to play well, when you win you are pleased but if you lose you say 'okay we'll play better next time'.
"In these cup games if you lose you are out and you have no chance to come back.
"So it's very different and the quality of players that play in the first teams compared to reserves is much higher.
"You use reserve games to get your fitness up and if you're not playing in the first team you lose a little bit of sharpness."
On his contribution towards the win at Craven Cottage, Goran cast a rather critical eye over his own performance.
"I wasn't very pleased with my form because I made a couple of mistakes, but it is normal after eight weeks out.
"I'm pleased to come back, I enjoyed my place on the field and that is the most important thing for me."
Goran refused to be drawn on whether he felt he had done enough to remain in the side for the visit of Bolton on Monday.
"It's the gaffer's job now because lots of good players are coming back. There were at least six players out against Fulham and we won - imagine when those come back into the first team squad!
"Yes of course, I will hope for the best."
