Wilson Palacios will be celebrating today after Honduras qualified for next summer's World Cup in dramatic fashion.
The Catrechos went into the final round of CONCACAF zone qualifiers knowing only victory in El Salvador would make taking the final automatic qualifying position possible.
Wilson and co then had to rely on Costa Rica, who were two points ahead of them before the night began, failing to beat USA in Washington.
And the night could not have got off to a worse start for Honduras as Costa Rica raced into a 2-0 lead within 23 minutes against the States thanks to a Bryan Ruiz double.
Into the second half, and Honduran all-time record goalscorer Carlos Pavon gave his side a 1-0 lead on 67 minutes - but at this point they were still heading for the lottery of the play-offs.
Then, four minutes later, a glimmer of hope as Michael Bradley pulled a goal back for the USA in Washington.
And unbelievably, in the fifth minute of stoppage time, Jonathan Bornstein popped up to net the equaliser and break Costa Rican hearts.
It meant Honduras advanced to their first World Cup Finals since 1982 - their only appearance to date - on goal difference!
Costa Rica, meanwhile, will now face Uruguay, who finished fifth in the South American zone, in a play-off to determine their World Cup fate.
