Glenn's Anfield blues

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Glenn Hoddle had nothing but praise for the performance but couldn't hide his disappointment at leaving Anfield with no reward on Saturday.
We matched, in terms of possession and chances created, a Liverpool side who have now lost just one league game in 27 (to us at the Lane in April) and are now four points clear in the Premiership.
In the end we were beaten by Michael Owen's flash of inspiration to first win out of nothing and then convert a penalty five minutes from time.
Glenn said: "We lost a game I felt we should have had something from, without a doubt, with how we played.
"The keeper made a couple of super saves, one in the first half, one in the second, then we had one cleared off the line and you just think those are the sort of things that need to go in for you here.
"Then they'll have to come at you a little and perhaps leave a few spaces at the other end.
"When they didn't go in you are always on the edge of your seat. They then popped up with a magnificent goal and a penalty to beat us.
"There were no complaints from the penalty. Michael is sometimes the difference between teams and he's proved that again.
"We kept him relatively quiet and he got around the back of our defence not many times but he did it in a crucial area late in the game and we've given a penalty away.
"It's more of a frustrating afternoon because of the way we played."
