Glenn relishes Leeds test
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Glenn Hoddle is relishing the challenge of what, arguably, is our toughest assignment of the season to date at Leeds United on Sunday.
The Yorkshire outfit are unbeaten, top of the Premiership and yet to concede a goal at Elland Road.
Yet belief is high on the agenda at Spurs as we travel north with four wins in our last four games.
"We're looking forward to it," Glenn insisted. "We go into the game with a lot of confidence and in a good spirit.
"In saying that, we know what a tough, tough game it is going to be.
"They've had a good result on Thursday night, although they lost it took them through to the next round and things are going very well for them.
"They were a bit unfortunate not to get anything more than a draw at Old Trafford and they are in a confident mood themselves."
Glenn pointed to continuity as the key to Leeds' success so far this term. "Their team has been settled, similar to ours in the last three or four games," he said.
"They have good individuals, Kewell is an excellent player, Viduka is totally at home in the Premiership now, Keane as well - they've got that depth in the squad that the three other top teams have got.
"Leeds are there with them. They've spent £80m to get there but they are slowly but surely clawing themselves up there and I'm sure, in their heart of hearts, they feel they can win the championship this season.
"We go into the game with a lot of belief and self-confidence and that is always a good way to go into the game."
Odds of 18/1 on a 2-1 Spurs victory and that becomes 25/1 if it's a 3-1 away win - click for details.
