Glenn on half-time message
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Glenn says his half-time message to the team on Sunday was not altered by Thierry Henry's penalty leveller just before the break.
The boss reasons that he was simply delighted with the first half showing against Arsenal, did not want the momentum of the team to be disrupted and was seeking a similar performance in the second half.
"I didn't change my thinking, funnily enough," said Glenn. "I said to the lads, and I've never used the words before, I said 'I don't care about the scoreline at the moment! It is the level of performance we have to maintain'.
"It is a strange thing to say when you've just conceded, but we needed to keep the momentum.
"We showed a lot of character to keep going. Against a very, very potent side I think they only had one chance - that is something we've got to build on as well.
"Today, in every aspect apart from maybe being clinical, you've got to say we were very good at everything. The closing down, the tackling, the passion, the pace, the creativity, chances created - everything.
"We haven't won the game though and that's what frustrates you sometimes."
So was the performance in the top few since coming back to the club?
"It would have been the very top if we'd have got the three points. We couldn't have done much more though."
