Emmanuel Adebayor has predicted a bright future for Harry Kane after partnering the England Under-21 international up front on Monday.
Ade and Harry started in attack together for the first time in the Premier League as we blew Sunderland away 5-1 at White Hart Lane.
Togolese striker Ade knows exactly what it takes to make it as a top level forward - and after teaming up with Harry to great effect this week, the 30-year-old reckons Harry can only benefit from playing alongside established senior internationals here at the club.
“It’s magnificent for him as a young lad to play for Spurs alongside a lot of good players like Aaron Lennon and Christian Eriksen,” Ade said after Monday’s win, in which both he and Harry were on the scoresheet.
“Harry got a goal against Sunderland and he had a very good game as well.
“Hopefully he will be the future of this club.”
