Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Friendship will go out of the window on Monday night as John Gorman seeks to put one over a good mate - Bolton boss Sam Allardyce.

John is a great admirer of both his friend's achievements at the Reebok Stadium outfit and the man himself, a man he describes as a much-needed character in the game.

"They've done very good, excellent," said John ahead of the encounter that could see us hit fifth in the Premiership should a win be secured. "And they've a good manager. I know him very well and he's a good friend of mine, big Sam. He's a character and we need them in the game.

"He's a good manager with a lot of experience, and he's been at the lower levels a lot as well, that's the thing about Sam. He appreciates it now he's at the top in the Premier League.

"We've got two games coming up against him now, starting with Monday night's game against Bolton. Forget about the cup for the meantime and we'll concentrate on trying to get three points."

John also sounded a warning about the threat Bolton pose - one Manchester United know only too well now.

"They're a good away team. They play the same way away as they do at home so you've got to be careful they don't catch you on the break.

"They put everybody behind the ball and are very difficult to break down, but that's something we're used to now - especially at White Hart Lane.

"The fans have been great, they've got to get behind us and be patient because it will be a difficult match. But they've all been difficult and it's nothing new, we've just got to come out with the three points with the way we've been playing."
