The Tottenham Hotspur Foundation hosted a Duke of Edinburgh Awards celebration to recognise 75 Bronze and Silver achievers from the local area.
Last year the Foundation enrolled over 80 participants for the programme, which sees young people completing a series of self-improvement challenges, with 64 achieving Bronze and Silver status plus 11 working towards their Gold Awards.
2016 was the Foundation’s most successful year for sign-ups, with an increased number of females, BME participants and people with disabilities, as well as three people from the To Care Is To Do children in care project.
Additionally, the Foundation helped five participants into employment, setting up interviews for a further four, while helping two to access a college of their choice after being initially declined.
