Football Development success in Malaysia - next up, Moscow!
Tottenham Hotspur Football Development coaches Luke Jones and Billy Manners have recently returned from an International Player Development Programme in Malaysia, in association with our partner Football Focus Asia and the British International School of Kuala Lumpar.
The seven-day programme was a great success and both Luke and Billy were impressed by the attitude, enthusiasm and application of all the players and remarked on the significant improvement made throughout the week.
Gilbard Honey-Jones, Principal, The British International School of Kuala Lumpur said: "The British School of Kuala Lumpur was privileged to host a Tottenham Hotspur Football Development Camp during the Easter holidays.
"Spurs sent Academy coaches Luke Jones and Billy Manners and they delivered quality sessions to 51 of our students.
"The pace of improvement and development of the players during the camp was remarkable.
"It certainly proved to me that Spurs take the development of young players very seriously."
As part of our ongoing partnership development with Football Focus Asia and the International School of Moscow, we will be running another International Player Development Programme in Russia from June 5-8.
Paul Seedhouse, Principal – International School, Moscow said: "The International School of Moscow is delighted to be hosting a top-quality coaching team from Tottenham Hotspur.
"And it’s all thanks to Football Focus Asia and Tottenham Hotspur Football Development for making this opportunity possible.
"It has been extraordinarily popular with the student body with the 100 places on the camp being filled on the first day of release.
"We are honored to offer this exclusive opportunity to our students. To have a coaching team from one of the top teams in England here in Moscow improving the skills and enjoyment of Football on the eve of the European Championships is fantastic. We look forward to welcoming our visitors from Tottenham in June."
