Football Aid

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

It's that time of year again - your chance to be Robbie Keane, Ledley King or Fredi Kanoute for the day as Football Aid ask our fans to take the place of a player for Charity.

Ever wanted to score the winner at the Park Lane end? Do you have the passion to play 90 minutes at the Lane?

You are not judged on your ability, just how much you are prepared to pay to Charity for a place in a team, captained by a former player of the Club.

Almost 60 clubs including most of the biggest in the business are supporting the programme, which aims to raise cash for charities helping children with diabetes and other good causes backed by the clubs themselves and the football authorities.

Those lucky fans who acquire the much sought-after positions in the teams will, where possible, experience a health check and fitness programme devised by LivingWell Health Group as well as free use of their facilities.

On the big day, players will receive a stadium tour prior to entering the changing rooms, where every player will have a personalised strip hanging up for them and team captains will hold a team-talk, discuss tactics and organise the pre-match warm-up before leading the players down the tunnel and on to the hallowed turf.

Fans are invited to bid for places in the team for the end-of-the-season match at White Hart Lane through the Football Aid website at the

Our director of football David Pleat said: "Football Aid is a fantastic idea and really gives us the chance to put something back into the community.

"Our fans have a real passion for the club and the game, and I'm sure they will relish the chance to experience what it's like to pull on the team strip and play in the stadium."
