Five players called into Sam Allardyce's first England squad

Five of our players have been called into Sam Allardyce's first England squad.

Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Harry Kane, Danny Rose and Kyle Walker have been named in the 23-man squad for the trip to Slovakia in England's first World Cup 2018 qualifying match on Sunday week, 4 September.

All five were also in England's squad for this summer's European Championships. Dele has 12 caps, Eric has 11, Harry has 16, Danny has seven and Kyle has 19.

The Three Lions take on Slovakia in European qualifying Group F at the City Arena, Trnava at 5pm.

Young Lions

Meanwhile, Josh Onomah and Kyle Walker-Peters have been named in the England Under-20 squad to take on Brazil at Kidderminster FC on Sunday 4 September (2.30pm).

Jaden Brown and Jonathan Dinzeyi are in the England Under-18 squad for friendly matches against Italy on Thursday (Fleetwood Town FC, 7pm) and Israel on Monday week, 5 September (Morecambe FC, 7pm).
