First interview: Grzegorz Rasiak
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Grzegorz Rasiak said the invitation to become a Tottenham player was one he needed little time to accept.
The Polish international striker was signed on transfer deadline day from Derby County and he completed his medical after returning from international duty on Thursday.
The 26-year-old, who scored 17 goals for the Rams last season, is now hoping to transfer his obvious scoring prowess to the White Hart Lane stage.
"I feel very good, I am joining a fantastic club and playing with so many good players can only help me," he reasoned.
"When I heard about Tottenham wanting me I didn't think too much and said yes. It was not a complete shock, I knew some clubs were interested in me, but it was a surprise, maybe.
"Last season I didn't start until the 24th of September and missed the first ten games so 17 goals was good. I hope this season will be like that. I know the Premiership is a better league but I hope it will be good for me.
"Tottenham is a very popular club in Poland. I know Tom Huddlestone from Derby, but also know of all the big players here like Paul Robinson, Jermain Defoe, Jermaine Jenas and Robbie Keane... It is a really fantastic team.
"I played against Ledley King for Poland a year ago and he did very well. I am happy that I can now play with all these players."
Meanwhile, Grzegorz suspects our management and scouts keeping tabs on the progress of Tom last season could well have helped him too in securing a big move.
"I hadn't spoken to Tom for a little while, but possibly his transfer helped me a little bit. When they were watching him they maybe noticed me too!"
