We are rightly proud of our record of good behaviour at recent matches abroad and as we prepare to embark on another journey overseas this weekend to face Celtic, we would like to stress the importance of respecting local amenities and culture in Helsinki as well as supporters of the opposition.
We would ask that you do not place flags on local statues or historical monuments, including architecture as this may cause offence.
As always, the usual prohibited items apply and all flags and banners will be checked for inappropriate wording by Police and Stewards prior to entering the Olympic Stadium. It is common policy and normal ground rules at football stadia in both the UK and Europe that all flags and banners of an overtly religious/sectarian/political nature will not be permitted and may be confiscated - please respect this request.
Any supporter travelling to Saturday's friendly in Finland is doing so as an ambassador of the Club and we have been asked to remind our fan base that any cases of disorder will be dealt with firmly by the local authorities.
Thank you once again for your fantastic backing of the team during pre-season so far and we wish you a safe and enjoyable visit.
